Inner Balance

This Hatha style class is designed to build foundational strength and awareness to the body's centre through breath, static holds, and balancing postures.

Working from the floor up to standing, you will strengthen the stabilizing muscles of the body's core while focusing on finding balance both on and off your mat.

Vin/Yin

We are combining our two regular Monday night classes to bring you the best of both worlds in one 60 minute class!

This class will begin with 30-40 minutes of a strong Vinyasa flow where you will increase your heart rate and build some strength and end with 20-30 minutes of Yin. Long, deep holds, targeting your body's deep connective tissue.

Slow Flow

A gentle, vinyasa style class that is slowed way down and offers plenty of time to stretch, rest, and move the body in connection with your breath. Modifications and enhancements are given to make sure the experience is wonderful for beginners, experienced practitioners and everyone in between. All levels.

Hatha

This Hatha style class will bring strength and focus to the body from head to toe. Focusing on longer static holds, emphasis is placed on the pose itself rather than linking movements together. 

Beginners can use this time to learn the most common poses while more advanced students can work on precision, alignment, depth, and progression. The focus will be on foundational postures and pranayama (breath control), however the instructor will provide modifications for every experience level, giving you the chance to expand your practice if you so choose. 

Because this class is not a set sequence, you can expect to learn something new and different every time.  Sunday is a more challenging version of this class.

Restorative with Aromatherapy

Restorative yoga is a gentle practice that provides an opportunity to provide deep rest to the body and mind. Settling into poses for longer periods of time, passively stretching with the support of blocks, bolsters, and blankets you will begin the practice of surrendering into deep relaxation & restoration. Essential oils and hands on adjustments will be used to enhance your experience.

Ashtanga

Ashtanga Flow comprises a precise series of poses that are performed in sequential order and linked together with the breath. This is a vigorous practice with very little cueing that moves at a quick pace. This class is a set sequence allowing you to deepen your physical practice and awareness of yourself in the same poses week to week. Some experience is recommended.

Deep Core

Deep Core is a vinyasa style class with a focus on strengthening and mobilizing all areas of the core (the abdomen, back, buttocks, ribcage, and shoulder girdle). We take the month to build to a complex flow. Each Tuesday builds on the previous week's theme until the end of the month. This is a strong practice that emphasizes the mechanics of how movement happens and helps identify and address the body’s compensation patterns. This class increases your knowledge about your body and the ways it was designed to move, build strength, and improve mobility. A workout for your body and your brain.

Class begins with a gentle warm up and sun salutations guided by the breath with a few standing postures to create a sense of work within the body and then winds down with a chance to deeply stretch and relax. 

You will finish class with the rest that your body and mind both need. 

Great for everyone!

It is a faster paced, dynamic practice that incorporates all of the various asana families in a single class. No one pose is held for more than a few breaths as the focus is more on moving from one posture to the next rather than static holds.

Each vinyasa class is its own experience and will have you learning many different and creative transitions in and out of poses as well as the opportunity to play with some more challenging postures. This class will build heat and increase your heart rate, strength, stamina, and flexibility.

Some experience is recommended.

All levels and bodies welcome.

Roll Model Method

This class uses various sized therapy balls for self massage and has a strong focus on helping you down regulate your nervous system, alleviate pain, increase your proprioception, improve mobility, and aid in muscle recovery. You will be guided through self myofascial release techniques that flood your system with endorphins and have you feeling amazing.
